About the role:
This integration software engineer at Swapt will assist with developing next-generation software that will change how people connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. Our product needs to be built for the future state to handle information at a massive scale and extend well beyond a simple application. We’re seeking an engineer who will bring fresh ideas from all areas, including information retrieval, large-scale system design, data storage, security, artificial intelligence, UI, and design.
As a software engineer, you will work directly alongside the co-founder/CEO, developing features and improving the product. This is an opportunity for an ambitious, well-rounded person to be able to get creative and exercise their development muscles. We need our first lead engineer to be versatile and enthusiastic about tackling new problems across the full stack as we continue to push technology forward.

Responsibilities
- Help build a team and product from the ground up.
- Lead designs of major software components, systems, and features.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve the software.
Minimum qualifications:
- Experience in software development using a general-purpose programming language, specifically Python and React.
- Experience architecting and developing distributed systems design.
- Experience in pivoting quickly given feedback and new understandings
- Experience with Shopify and Klaviyo development
Preferred qualifications:
- Demonstrated expertise working with one or more of the following: Infrastructure, Mobile Application Development, or Front End Development,
- Experience architecting and developing solutions to ambiguous problems with significant impact.
- Understanding of AWS, Aurora, Python, and React JS.
